First of all, let me start out saying: "My name is Mary Beth Hobbs and I am addicted to Facebook." I am enjoying FB so much and can't believe I waited this long to sign up. I have had so much fun over the past two days catching up with old classmates and co-workers. The instant message is really nice!
Today, I went to Dyersburg to clean the rest of my grandmother's house out. The items that did not sell during the little estate sale I had, I loaded up and took to the mission (I am looking forward to seeing how much of a tax deduction I will receive). Anyway, while I was there, I spoke with a man that might be interested in buying her house. While talking to him, the heat comes on and sounds like it is about to explode! It was so loud that I could hardly hear the man speak to me. That is not a good thing when you are trying to sell a house, plus it smelled like natural gas. So after he leaves, I call the heat/air repair man to come and check things out. Now, keep in mind, no one has lived in this house since July. So the guy shows up and guess what, I need to replace the whole unit. There is a huge crack in the chamber and the motor is falling apart and the blades are shot. This is definitely something I didn't want. I was trying to avoid having the pipes freeze and cause a water leak, but no I get this. So after being quoted between $3500 -3700, I am in a deep depression. We are going to look around and get other quotes. I really wish I could sell that house fast. I posted a for sale in the yard today and I hope to have nibbles in the next few days.
I had to post two pictures of Nathan from today. He unbuttoned his pants and put his foot on the window. Apparently, he decided to get real comfy on the ride there. This kid is something, but he is priceless and I love him.
Maddie drew this cute little horse with my IPhone scribble application. Looks pretty good for drawing with her fingers, huh?
