David having his first taste of lobster bisque in the Chicago airport at 9:00 am!
Tucker could not resist a Chicago-style hot dog at 9:00 am!
We stayed at a resort in the Cape Cod area. I could really get used to living in this area - no fast food restaurants, just little mom and pop owned eateries. All of the stores and gas stations looked like little houses with siding and shingles. These pictures were taken outside of the main office at our resort. It was a perfect picture opportunity with the large beach chairs.

I had to live out my "beach lifeguard" dream for just a few seconds
A little mom and pop ice cream shop in Cape Cod. They had delicious ice cream but the cone was quite stale.
An old cemetery in downtown Boston. Some of the graves dated back to the 1600's. Quite a few new settlers from England were buried here. This place was very neat and surreal.
One of the many places to eat at Quincey's Market - two long buildings with hundreds of places to eat. It was very difficult to decide what to have for lunch!
A public restroom that cost 25 cents to use for 25 minutes. I tried to open it up, but only lost my quarter. I was very curious about this, but did not get to check it out.

Go Celtics. We were in Boston during the NBA Finals. Unfortunately, we were unable to attend a game - tickets were $300 and up. We didn't even see any scalpers - definitely not a Tennessee Football game...
Bunker Hill - part of the Freedom Trail
U.S.S. Constitution
A river taxi ride in the Boston Harbor
Love the sailboats
The Original Cheers, where nobody knew our name. This was one of my favorite places we went. It was really cool to have a drink at the Cheers bar that was actually used on set. It even had markers indicating what character sat where during the show!

We took a ferry boat over to Nantucket Island one day. If I lived on Nantucket, I would never the leave...it cost us $110 round-trip! Many of the houses are million dollar homes - so of course I will not be living there anytime soon! I just loved the house and the cobblestone streets!
The guys waiting on us to finish looking around in the stores - a little bored wouldn't you say?
We rented scooters to cruise around the island on. It was hilarious to see all of us on these things getting in the way of cars. But, we had a blast and got to see a lot of pretty places. On the beach in Nantucket
We had scheduled a sailboat ride and the weather started to cool off a bit. So, Kara, Tucker, and Selena all bought the same sweatshirt (probably because it was on sale). So, we called them the Bon Aqua Sailing Club.
The only lighthouse we saw during our whole trip. Isn't he cute? This is actually one of the oldest lighthouse in North America...so pretty cool!
Our brave co-captain and captain. The captain I know had to be kin to the Kennedy's. He looked just like Teddy and he even sounded like him!
Tucker helping mast the sails.
Kara and Selena really wanted this hats - but decided on just posing for a picture
Selena is a huge Henry David Thoreau fan...so we had to visit Walden Pond while we were in the neighborhood. The whole gang posing with Henry We also drove to Salem to try to find some witches. Instead, we found the House of the Seven Gables. We went on a guided tour and learned a little bit about the house and it's history. So much, that Tucker bought the Hawthorne novel and not even read one page yet! We were not allowed to take pictures inside of the house, so I quickly took this shot before the tour began. The ceilings were extremely slow, so Tucker had a difficult time not hitting his head. But, he did great and survived without any bumps or bruises. Anyone want to go sailing again?
We did visit the Witch Museum, but got there too late for a tour. I bet that would have been more interesting than the House of the Seven Gables.....
The Red Sox were out of the town the entire week we were in Boston. So, we drove down to the stadium to take a peek.
