Nathan loves to play at the park! I know he misses Maddie while she is in school, but he had a blast this day at the park. He met up with a little 4 year old boy and they played so well for about 40 minutes together! Then, the little boy had to go and poor Nathan was just left with me! But, we still had a fun outing.
My cute little man is growing up so fast! His favorite is the swings, he laughs and laughs as I push him. It is so SWEET!

Memphis Zoo
During Maddie's Spring Break, we took a day trip to the Memphis Zoo with our friends the Anderson's. We took off from Bon Aqua around 7:30 in the morning and drove to Memphis. The kids were really well-behaved and watched several movies on the way there. Once we arrived in Memphis and near the zoo, we were in STAND STILL-BUMPER TO BUMPER TRAFFIC! The "natives" were getting quite restless at this point. As we approached the parking lot, we were told "there is no room in the inn." So, we ended up parking in a nearby neighborhood (free parking). The line waiting to get in the zoo was extremely LONG! All in all, it took us about 45 minutes to get into the zoo from the time we were near the zoo until we stepped foot inside the zoo. Who knew it was Spring Break in Memphis as well. But, we had a wonderful time and it wasn't as crowded once we got inside the zoo; it is very large and nicely spread out! We finally arrived back to Bon Aqua with 4 sleepy kids and 2 very tired mommas around 9:00 pm. The Memphis Zoo is well worth the drive and the crowds. It is by far my favorite zoo around!!
A monkey put on a little acrobat show for us.
The kids standing by one of many banners that children from Memphis area schools had painted. There were some pretty spectacular ones!

Fun-filled and Busy Easter Weekend
We had a very busy Easter weekend. On Saturday, the kids had a soccer game. They finally got their uniforms and they are HUGE! They seem to swallow their little bodies, but they look so professional. Maddie scored 2 goals and Nathan scored 1. They do not keep score, but I do! The other team won, but our team had a lot of fun! The kids are really enjoying themselves. After the soccer game, we had an Easter Egg Hunt at our house. We had a great turn out and everyone enjoyed the beautiful weather. The kids had free-reign of the backyard and we even had a kick ball game.
I am working on another post to get caught up through March and April, so stay tune......

Picture with the cousinsAfter church, we went to Aunt Kara's house for lunch and to have these lovely pictures made. A friend of the family brought his motorcycle and he took the big kids for a ride. All three of the girls left smiling and came back smiling. It was such a beautiful day!

Tucker and I threatened Maddie to hold on for dear life. She had such a tight grip on Mr. Gary that I don't think anything was going to knock her off. She looked sooo little!
Of course, she came back with a huge grin on her face and said it awesome!Hallie was a little more cautions than Audrey and Hallie, but she had a great time as well!
