Lots of Snow!

We had a blast this weekend in the snow! On Friday, I left work around lunch, picked up the kids, and then we headed outside for some fun in the snow! Yesterday and today, we have had a wonderful time sledding with friends over at their farm. Maddie loved the time out in the snow, Nathan on the other hand, did not care for it much once he got cold. He did a lot better today with very little crying. Both kids were in the bed tonight at 7:15 - completely worn out!

I wish it could have kept snowing on top of this 3 1/2 to 4 inches, instead of icing; but we still had a fabulous time!
It was snowing/sleeting during this picture - the kids not too happy!
The dogs were LOVIN' it!
Snow angel time....
....beautiful!

Nathan had fun throwing the large pieces of ice
Such a sad face...
Maddie had absolutely had enough - she looks so exhausted at this point!

Nathan's and Ruby's 3rd Birthday Celebration

Last Sunday, January 10th, we celebrated Nathan's and Ruby's, 3rd birthday. Kara and I decided on a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse party. It was a really cute theme and we decorated the house with Mickey and Minnie Mouse stuffed animals. We had a pretty low key party with chips/dip and cake/ice cream. The kids had a lot fun playing and hanging out with each other. There were lots of friends that showed up to help celebrate the "twins" birthdays. It is hard to believe Nathan has been in our family for 3 years already. He is growing up so fast and learning so much everyday. Happy 3rd Birthday, Nathan and Ruby!

The present table. We decided to let each kid take turns opening one present at a time. To our surprise, it worked out GREAT! They actually sat there and waited on the other one to finish a present and for their turn! ~Amazing for two 3 year old kids!

Happy Birthday, sweet baby boy and girl! You guys have such a special bond and are so LUCKY to have each other! We love you!

Look who's 3

Nathan turned 3 years old today!! It is so hard to believe that he is actually 3 years old....time flies too quickly. Fortunately, I was off work today and we got to spend the day together. We had some nice cuddle time this morning, had lunch and playtime with Daddy and Gran at Burger King, made cupcakes for his pre-school class tomorrow, and had some cake after dinner tonight. On Sunday, Nathan and his cousin Ruby, are having a joint birthday bash since they were born 36 hours apart. We are looking forward to celebrating their 3rd birthdays together.

Christmas 2009

Finally, I have posted some pictures from Christmas. It has been a crazy week around here with work, trying to clean the house up, and keeping up with Maddie's social events. We had a nice Christmas and the kids are enjoying playing with their gifts. Here are a few of my favorite pictures from Christmas 2009:
