Dollywood and Gatlinburg Trip

For the past few years, Tucker's parents have taken the oldest of the 5 grandchildren on a trip to Gatlinburg/Dollywood. Last year, my father-in-law could not handle the roller coasters anymore because of his back, so they brought me on board this year to ride with Audrey and Hallie. So, on Tuesday afternoon, we set off to Pigeon Forge. The kids swam at the hotel that night and had a great time. On Wednesday morning, we went to Dollywood. Audrey, Hallie, and I rode all of the roller coasters and had a ball. I didn't know Hallie was such a dare-devil, but she hung in there with all of the coasters and loved them. Later that night, we drove on into Gatlinburg and had more swim time before bed. Then, the next morning after breakfast, we drove up to the Smokey Mountains and into Cade's Cove. It was so beautiful and we saw some wildlife....bears, turkeys, and deer. It was a quick, but very fun trip. We all had a great time!

Father's Day

WE LOVE YOU, DADDY!!
I am almost a week late on posting this, but better late than never! We had our annual Father's Day picnic at Montgomery Bell State Park on Sunday and had a fun time in the creek. The kids loved being in the water with Tucker and had a great time. I am so thankful to have a great father to my children and watch them interact daily. We love you, Tucker!!!!

Nathan's 2 year old picture

Well, it has been ONLY 5 months, but I finally got Nathan's 2 year old picture made on Thursday. I can't believe he is almost 2 1/2! Time has really flown by with him. While we were there, I got the kids picture made together. I think they turned out GREAT!

Happy Birthday, Audrey!!

Yesterday was Audrey's (our niece) 9th birthday! It is hard to believe that she is already 9 years old. Kara and David had a cook-out at their house last night and the kids had a fun time in the sprinklers and slip and slide. Thanks Cox Family for a great time and Happy Birthday, Audrey! The Hobbs Crew is looking forward to the "big birthday bash" on the 27th!

Pool Fun!

I have been looking for something for the kids to play with outside. Finally, I was at Target the other day and came across this pirate ship. The kids have had fun playing in it and they can't wait until the water warms up. It was a little cold when we first filled it up and both of them were shivering. I think they are going to have lots of fun in it this summer!

Another Dress-up Moment...

The other day, Maddie dressed Nathan up AGAIN! He looks so funny and really doesn't seem to mind it at all. Nonetheless, I HAVE GOT TO FIND SOME BOYS FOR THIS KID TO PLAY WITH!!!!!

Of course, Maddie is the little leopard. These are the moments that we will remember one day and pay back when Nathan starts dating!
